Example of Mercury acoustic guitar
Mercury Guitar

The Mercury was originally designed for Duncan McKenzie, who needed a guitar to suit his “softer “ style of playing, but would have the sound and punch he needed for larger venues.

The body shape and depth gives the Mercury a large internal volume, but without looking like a large guitar. Duncan’s Mercury guitar has Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, but the standard model's Mahogany or Indian Rosewood body still makes for a fabulously sounding guitar.
